Embark on a thrilling 1 day & 1 night adventure in Wadi Rum, featuring a hike to Jabal Um Ad Dami (1,854 m), Jordan’s highest peak, located right on the border with Saudi Arabia.

If you’re looking for a short yet unforgettable desert adventure, this 1-day & 1-night tour offers something truly special. Jabal Um Ad Dami is not just another mountain — it’s the highest peak in Jordan, standing at 1,854 meters above sea level, and located right on the border with Saudi Arabia.

Unlike the more crowded parts of Wadi Rum, the southern desert near Um Ad Dami is remote, wild, and quiet — a perfect escape for travelers who want to feel the true vastness of the desert. The mountain lies about 40 km away from the central Wadi Rum valley, far from the daily tourist routes.
This makes it one of the best areas in Wadi Rum for spotting wildlife, as it’s untouched, rarely visited, and offers a glimpse into the desert’s natural ecosystem.

The hike itself is moderate and accessible, taking around 2–3 hours to reach the summit. From the top, you’ll enjoy jaw-dropping panoramic views stretching deep into Saudi Arabia and across the red and white mountains of Wadi Rum.
And if the skies are clear, you’ll even spot the Red Sea and the mountains of Nuweiba in Egypt — a rare and unforgettable sight.

It’s an experience that combines natural beauty, peaceful silence, and a rewarding physical challenge — all guided by a local Bedouin who knows the land like the back of his hand.

And the best part? You’ll still get the full desert experience: a sunset jeep tour on day one, a night under the stars in a Bedouin camp, and a fresh traditional lunch cooked over open fire after your hike.

This tour is perfect for hikers, adventurers, and travelers who want to see the real Wadi Rum in just 24 hours — from hidden valleys to the highest mountain in Jordan .
