Jabal Um Ad Dami is the highest peak in Jordan, reaching an elevation of about 1,854 meters above sea level. Located in the far south of Wadi Rum near the border with Saudi Arabia,
it offers one of the most rewarding hikes in the country. The Hike usually takes 2–3 hours with a Bedouin guide and is suitable for most active travelers. From the summit, visitors are rewarded with sweeping views over the dramatic landscapes of Wadi Rum to the north and the vast mountains of Saudi Arabia to the south.
On clear days, you can even see as far as the Red Sea. Hiking Jabal Um Ad Dami is not only a chance to stand on Jordan’s highest point but also to enjoy the peaceful desert atmosphere and learn about the unique plants and traditions of the area from local Bedouin guides.

Morning Adventures Hike
Your Wadi Rum 1 Day 1 Night Hiking Jabal Um Addami tour begins with a scenic jeep drive across the desert, heading south to Jebel Um Adami, Jordan’s highest mountain at 1830m. The drive offers stunning views and sets the tone for your adventure. Once you reach the mountain base, you’ll start a 2–3 hour hike to the summit. At the top, you’ll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views stretching into Saudi Arabia, and on clear days, even the Red Sea and Egypt’s mountains. After taking photos and resting, you’ll descend back to the jeep (about 45 minutes to 1.5 hours).
Lunch Break

Afternoon Adventure
In the afternoon, the journey takes you to Wadi Sabet, a remote and rarely visited area of the desert. Sunset & Overnight at Khaled’s Camp

Morning of the Next Day
