Desert Lunch Experience
Around midday, we pause at a quiet, shaded spot in the desert where your Bedouin guide prepares a freshly cooked meal. The highlight is Galayet Bandora, a traditional Jordanian dish made from tomatoes, onions, olive oil, and spices, served with warm, fresh bread—a recipe cherished in the desert for generations.
While lunch is being prepared, you can relax in the cool shade, soak in the peaceful desert surroundings, or take a short stroll to explore the nearby landscape.
During summer, the break is longer to rest through the hottest part of the day, while in winter, it’s shorter to maximize daylight for exploring more of Wadi Rum’s stunning scenery.

During the afternoon of your Wadi Rum 1 Day 2 Night Jeep Tour, we drive to Mushroom Rock, a striking wind-shaped formation resembling a giant mushroom—perfect for photos and a must-see in Wadi Rum. Next, we head to the Burdah Rock Bridge viewpoint, one of the desert’s most spectacular natural arches.
Afterward, enjoy a 30–45 minute hike through Abu Khashaba Canyon, while the jeep waits to pick you up on the other side. Our journey continues to Um Fruth Rock Bridge, where you can climb for stunning desert photographs, followed by a stop at the Panorama Viewpoint to admire sweeping views over Wadi Rum’s vast sandy landscapes.
We conclude the afternoon with a visit to Chicken Rock, a whimsical formation shaped like a chicken,
