Begin your first day exploring Lawrence Spring, a peaceful desert spot where you can enjoy serene views and observe traditional Bedouin water practices. Next, visit the Red Sand Dune, climb to the top, and slide down or try sandboarding for some desert excitement.
Continue to Khazali Canyon, a shaded gorge featuring ancient inscriptions from the Nabataean and Thamudic civilizations, offering a fascinating glimpse into Wadi Rum’s history. Then, stop at Little Bridge, a stunning natural arch with panoramic desert views. The morning concludes at Lawrence House, the historic base of T.E. Lawrence, where you can take in the scenery and reflect on the stories of the desert.
Day 1: Traditional Desert Lunch
Midway through your Wadi Rum 2 Day 1 Night Jeep Tour Jebel Hash Hike, we pause at a quiet, shaded spot in the desert where your Bedouin guide prepares a fresh, traditional meal. A favorite is Galayet Bandora — a classic Jordanian dish of tomatoes, onions, olive oil, and spices, served with warm, freshly baked bread.
While lunch is being prepared, you can relax in the shade, soak up the stillness of the desert, or take a short stroll to explore the surroundings. In summer, the break is a bit longer to rest during the hottest hours, while in winter it’s slightly shorter so you can enjoy more time discovering Wadi Rum’s landscapes.
Day 1: Afternoon Exploration
In the afternoon of your Wadi Rum 2 Day 1 Night Jeep Tour Jebel Hash Hike, the journey continues to Mushroom Rock, a striking wind-carved formation and a favorite photo spot. From there, we head to Burdah Rock Bridge, one of Wadi Rum’s most impressive natural arches.
Next, enjoy a 30–45 minute hike through the shaded paths of Abu Khashaba Canyon, while your jeep awaits on the other side. The adventure continues to Um Fruth Rock Bridge, where you can climb for stunning desert views, before reaching the Panorama Viewpoint, offering sweeping vistas across Wadi Rum’s vast landscape. The afternoon ends at Chicken Rock, a fun, chicken-shaped formation that adds a playful finish to the day.
Day 1: Sunset Views & Night at Khaled’s Camp
At the end of the day, arrive at Khaled’s Camp and settle into your cozy Bedouin tent, welcomed with a warm cup of traditional tea. As the sun sets, watch the desert transform with golden light across the wide open sands. A Bedouin-style dinner is then served under the stars, offering an authentic taste of local flavors. After dinner, you can relax by the campfire, share stories with fellow travelers, or head to the dunes for stargazing — the perfect ending to your first day in Wadi Rum.
Day 2: Sunrise & Breakfast at Khaled’s Camp
Wake up to a beautiful sunrise over the golden desert and enjoy a calm, peaceful morning. Then, have a traditional Bedouin breakfast at Khaled’s Camp, including fresh bread, hummus, tea, and other local flavors.
Jabel Hash Hike Adventure
After breakfast, continuo your Wadi Rum 2 Day 1 Night Jeep Tour Jebel Hash Hike drive about 45 minutes to the southern valleys near the Saudi border. Start a 3–4 hour guided hike along the Jebel Hash ridge, with amazing views of Wadi Rum’s desert to the north and the Saudi mountains to the south. Your Bedouin guide will also show you local desert herbs and explain how they are used in traditional medicine.
Lunch Break in Wadi Fur’ah
After the hike, rest in the shaded valley of Wadi Fur’ah. Your Bedouin guide will cook a fresh lunch over an open fire local dishes — while you relax with tea and enjoy the peaceful desert surroundings.
Return & End of Adventure
After lunch, drive back through scenic valleys to Rum Village. Collect your belongings and say goodbye to your guide, finishing your 2-day desert adventure full of memories, photos, and authentic Bedouin experiences.
