Khaled’s Camp Accommodation Options
Wadi Rum is our home, where we grew up, spent our childhood climbing the rocks, and exploring hidden canyons and valleys.
We created Khaled’s Camp to welcome guests from around the world and to share with them our Bedouin traditions and way of life.
At Khaled’s Camp, we offer two types of tents, available upon request:
• Regular Tent: A cozy tent with comfortable beds and shared bathrooms located outside.
• Panorama Tent: A spacious tent with a private bathroom and large glass windows to enjoy the stunning desert views.
Our goal is to keep the Bedouin lifestyle alive while adding the comfort our guests deserve, so your stay in Wadi Rum feels both authentic and relaxing.
Khaled`s Camp Location
Khaled’s Camp is set deep inside the Wadi Rum Protected Area, about 12 km from Rum Village. ( view on google map)
The camp sits at a beautiful sunset point, right between the red desert and the white desert, making it a truly unique spot. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking and exploring, with sandstone mountains and rock formations that you can climb for breathtaking views during sunrise or sunset.
How to Reach Khaled’s Camp
Khaled’s Camp is located deep inside the Wadi Rum Protected Area ( view on google map). Please note that the camp is not accessible by regular car, taxi, or bus — you’ll need a 4×4 vehicle to get there.
For your convenience, we will meet you at our office in Rum Village (view location), where you can safely park your car. From there, our team will take care of your transportation to the camp and back.

Authentic Bedouin-style Tent
Our tents offer the perfect blend of Bedouin charm and modern comfort. Whether you choose a Panorama Tent with private bathroom and large windows or a Regular Tent for a cozy traditional experience, each tent is equipped with comfortable beds, warm blankets, and fresh sheets and towels changed daily. Simple, comfortable, and authentic — the ideal way to experience the magic of Wadi Rum.
Panorama Tent
Our Panorama Tents blend Bedouin tradition with modern comfort, featuring a private bathroom, large glass windows, and options for twin, double, or triple beds. Enjoy stunning desert views and the magical Wadi Rum sky from the comfort of your tent.
Regular Tent
Our Regular Tents preserve the traditional Bedouin style while offering cozy comfort.
Available in single, twin, triple, quadruple, and family options with outdoor shared bathrooms.

Sleep Under the Stars on the Sand Dunes
Experience the magic of the desert night by sleeping on a soft sand dune just steps from the camp. We provide comfortable mattresses and warm blankets to make your night cozy under the open sky. If you don’t feel comfortable at any point, you can easily move back to your tent. You can decide on this accommodation when you arrive.
Khaled’s Camp Dining & Facilities
Khaled’s Camp offers an authentic Bedouin experience in the heart of Wadi Rum. The camp features a welcoming dining tent where guests can enjoy meals in a cozy atmosphere. Clean and well-maintained bathrooms with showers are available for guests’ comfort. A dedicated sunset platform provides stunning views of the desert, perfect for relaxing and watching the evening sky. Every part of the camp, from dining to facilities, is designed to reflect the simplicity and authenticity of desert life.
Dining Tent
Enjoy an authentic Bedouin dining experience in our cozy tent, where the aroma of freshly cooked meals fills the air. You can choose to eat the traditional Bedouin way, sitting on the floor around low tables, or enjoy a more conventional meal at a dining table with comfortable chairs. Savor warm Bedouin tea and authentic dishes like the slow-cooked underground Zarb, while relaxing, listening to desert stories, and connecting with fellow travelers.
Khaled`s Camp Food
At Khaled’s Camp, food is part of the Bedouin experience. The highlight is the traditional Zarb – meat and vegetables slow-cooked underground on hot embers, coming out tender and full of smoky flavor.
In the morning, enjoy a fresh Bedouin breakfast with warm bread, olives, labneh, cheese, hummus, honey, and Bedouin tea brewed over the fire.

Sunset View Point
At Khaled’s Camp, you don’t need to go far to catch the sunset. From our special sunset platform, you can relax with a cup of Bedouin tea and watch the sun set over the red mountains of Wadi Rum – a peaceful and unforgettable desert view.
Bathrooms
